Jeri MacTaggart, Secretary
My name is Jeri (Holder) MacTaggart. I was raised here on Redlands Mesa on the farm my parents, Ward and Opal Holder owned. I attended Hotchkiss schools and graduated from Hotchkiss High School in 1969. I married and moved with my family to Moab, Utah where I taught Middle School math and science for 24 years. I retired in 2011 and moved back here and built a home on the part of the original farm gifted to me from my parents. They gifted all their children home sites from the farm. I started growing lavender and distilling it for a small home business of skin products. My lavender patch died last winter in the freeze that destroyed a lot of crops in Delta County but I have continued to make skin products to sell at local venues and area craft fairs. The community gave a lot to me while I was growing up here and I decided I needed to give back so I became active in the Redlands Mesa Grange #487. I was elected Secretary in July of 2021 and continue in that role now.
